I’m so happy you’re here
Life can be a lot—full of stress, uncertainty, major transitions, and the pressure to keep up. You might be dealing with anxiety, self-doubt, relationship challenges, or feeling unsure about who you are or where you're headed. In my practice, I offer individual sessions for neurodivergent and neurotypical adults and teens who may also be navigating anxiety, depression, emotion regulation challenges, or life transitions. I deeply understand how hard it can be to find a therapist who truly “gets it”—someone who won’t pathologize your differences or make assumptions. I aim to create a warm, affirming space where clients feel safe, respected, and supported just as they are. Each session is thoughtfully tailored to your unique experiences, needs, and goals—because I believe therapy should never be one-size-fits-all. Our individuality is one of our greatest strengths, and by understanding you as a whole person, I aim to support meaningful growth, relief, and resilience. In a safe, nonjudgmental space, we’ll work collaboratively to navigate challenges, build insight, and reconnect with what brings purpose and fulfillment to your life.
I work with individuals 18+—both on and off the spectrum—who are seeking support with:
Anxiety / Depression
Relationship Issues
Grief / Loss
Body Image / Self-Worth
Feeling Lost or Unfulfilled
Overwhelm & Burnout
Chronic Overthinking / Limiting Beliefs
Disconnection / "Going Through the Motions"
Work Stress
Low Self-Esteem
Uncertainty About Life Purpose or Desires

Call me Hales!
I earned my undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston and completed my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The Citadel. During my clinical training, I had the opportunity to work in a variety of therapeutic settings, including the Medical University of South Carolina, where I provided care to individuals navigating a wide range of mental health challenges. My clinical experience includes working with adults facing depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and significant life stressors, as well as individuals on the autism spectrum and those with other neurodevelopmental conditions.
I have extensive experience supporting neurodiverse clients and am passionate about creating a therapeutic environment that is flexible, inclusive, and attuned to individual needs. At the same time, my training and background allow me to work effectively with clients from all walks of life. My approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices, and I strive to meet each client where they are—offering support as they process emotions, navigate transitions, and move toward personal growth and meaningful change.
This is a safe and welcoming space for individuals of all genders, backgrounds, races, ethnicities, and communities. Here, diversity is not only respected but celebrated. I invite you to show up fully and authentically—without fear of judgment—as we work together toward greater understanding, self-compassion, and healing.
